The second colt I’ve purchased for the syndicate was another standout type by Hello Youmzain, out of a mare by Wootton Bassett. This is a Wertheimer family that holds special meaning for me, as it was in the Wertheimer yard where I first began my journey in racing. On the dam’s side, names like Anysheba and Animatrice bring back a lot of fond memories and underline the depth and quality in this pedigree.
Physically, this colt is everything you could hope for, strong, correct, and beautifully put together, with a fluent, athletic movement. He’s a sound horse with a great temperament, and he really looks the part.
We already have one Hello Youmzain in the yard, Stimulative Trip, who made a striking impression when winning on debut.
While this colt is bred to improve with age, there’s no reason he can’t be seen on a racecourse as a two-year-old.
His dam is by Wootton Bassett, one of the most sought-after stallions in Europe and now even more so following his recent passing.
All in all, he’s a colt with an excellent physique, a pedigree full of quality and sentiment, and, once again, exceptional value for money. He’s the kind of horse that will sell himself.
